Free TriPeaks Solitaire Online
TriPeaks is a fast solitaire game of runs: clear three overlapping peaks of cards by playing cards one rank above or below the card on the waste. Solitaire Play offers TriPeaks in your browser for free, with Hint, Undo and a daily challenge, and no download or sign-up.
Official Rules & Scoring
The goal is to clear all 28 cards from the three peaks. The other 23 cards form the stock, and one of them starts face up on the waste.
- Peaks: 28 cards are laid out in three overlapping peaks. The ten cards of the bottom row start face up; covered cards turn face up as soon as the cards on them are gone.
- Playing: tap a face-up card that is exactly one rank higher or lower than the top waste card. Suits do not matter. The card moves to the waste and becomes the new card to match.
- Runs: you can keep going up or down as long as the next card is free, and long runs clear a peak quickly. Ace and King count as neighbours.
- Stock: when no card fits, tap the stock to turn the next card onto the waste. There is no redeal.
- Winning: you win when all 28 peak cards are gone. Cards left in the stock do not matter.
Why Runs Matter
Every card in the stock is a chance to start a new run, so the aim is to get as many cards as possible out of the peaks before the stock is used up. A card is only free when both cards touching it from the row below are gone, so think ahead about which cards a run will uncover.
Strategy & Tips
- Look before you tap. several cards often fit the waste card; check which choice leads to the longer run.
- Clear toward the middle. removing cards that uncover face-down cards gives you more options next turn.
- Save the stock. only turn a stock card when nothing fits; unused stock cards are your reserve.
- Keep both directions open. a waste card can be matched up or down, so keep cards of both neighbouring ranks available.
- Use Undo and Hint. experiment freely; Hint shows the next move of a winning line when the solver finds one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can every TriPeaks deal be won?
No. Some random TriPeaks deals have no winning line. Solitaire Play does not pre-screen TriPeaks deals; the Solver in the menu can tell you whether the current position can still be won.
Do Ace and King connect?
Yes. Ace and King count as neighbours here, so you can go from King to Ace or from Ace to King.
Can I redeal the stock?
No. Each stock card is turned over once.
Where are the other solitaire games?
Klondike is on the home page, and FreeCell, Spider and Pyramid have their own pages.
